Job summary

Think FE in Northamptonshire is seeking three Plumbing & Heating Lecturers to join our established team. You will deliver Plumbing & Heating programmes across Levels 1–3, provide practical demonstrations and workshop-based teaching, and act as a course tutor while supporting learners throughout their programme.

Candidates should hold a Level 3 Plumbing qualification with current industry experience; FE lecturing experience or teaching qualifications are welcomed.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Plumbing qualification and current occupational experience.
• Experience delivering Plumbing Levels 1–3 in FE.
• Teaching, training, assessing or mentoring experience encouraged.
• Teaching/assessing qualification desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Plumbing & Heating programmes across Levels 1–3.
• Providing practical demonstrations and workshop-based teaching.
• Acting as a course tutor.
• Supporting learners throughout their programme.
• Monitoring attendance and learner progress.
• Completing associated course administration.
• Contributing to curriculum development.
• Ensuring delivery remains aligned with current industry requirements.
