Iris Recruitment is seeking a Lecturer in Plumbing & Heating Engineering in Chippenham. The role offers a permanent, full-time position with a 37-hour week and a salary up to £40,814 per year plus a £5,500 pro rata Specialist Skills Shortage Bonus, depending on skills and experience.

The successful candidate will teach and assess learners, deliver practical sessions, and ensure health & safety standards while embedding industry practices and sustainability into teaching.

Formación

• A Level 3 NVQ in Plumbing.
• Gas competency.
• IQA & Assessors Award or willingness to work towards.
• Industry experience in Plumbing & Heating Engineering.
• Strong practical skills and up-to-date knowledge of regulations.
• Experience mentoring others.
• Teaching qualification welcomed and will be supported during work.

Responsabilidades

• Teach and assess learners across Plumbing & Heating programmes, including full-time courses and apprenticeships.
• Deliver engaging, practical sessions in workshop and classroom environments.
• Support learners in developing industry-standard skills, knowledge, and safe working practices.
• Embed current industry practices, regulations, and sustainability principles into teaching.
• Maintain high standards of health & safety, safeguarding, and professionalism.
• Track learner progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement.
