Job description

Nottingham, United Kingdom Starting from £34,000 DOE

Intend Electrical are looking for an experienced Plumbing and Heating Gas Engineer to join their busy and growing team. The role will involve working on small commercial projects as well as domestic works, installations and reactive maintenance.

The ideal candidate will be happy to work on their own or as part of a small team. You will be expected to respond to call-outs, handle planned installations, and ensure all work is completed to a high standard.

The day to day duties include but are not limited to:

- Undertaking reactive plumbing repairs and maintenance in domestic and commercial properties.

- Carrying out installation works, including bathrooms, kitchens, heating systems.

- Diagnosing and resolving plumbing issues efficiently and effectively.

- Providing excellent customer service and maintaining professionalism on every job.

- Participating in the call-out rota to provide emergency plumbing services outside of normal working hours.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating or equivalent (required)
• ACS Certified Gas Certificate CCN1 or equivalent (required)
• Proven experience as both domestic and commercial plumber
• Strong knowledge of heating systems, pipework, and controls
• Good Fault-Finding Skills
• Driving Licence (required)

The salary for this role is starting from £34,000 and is negotiable dependent on experience. In addition to this, we also offer an on-call and overtime allowance.

The position will be based at our newly refurbished office in Nottingham, with free drinks, fruit and refreshments.
