Kemac Metro Plumb in the Newport area is seeking a confident Reactive Plumbing Engineer to join our team. You will carry out all aspects of plumbing work for domestic and commercial customers, with a rota system ensuring 40 hours per week and opportunities for on-call duties.

The role emphasizes emergency plumbing support, with a focus on quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Applicants should have NVQ Level 2 and full UK driving licence, with overtime available.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Plumbing/Heating Engineer for domestic and commercial customers.
• NVQ Level 2 is required.
• Ideally gas and pump experience; renewable energy experience advantageous.
• Unvented certification preferred.
• DBS check required or willingness to undergo.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Flexibility to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all aspects of plumbing work including installation and maintenance of toilets, taps, valves, pipework and heating systems across domestic and commercial customers.
• Attend emergency plumbing jobs relating to installations/leaks/issues.

Reactive Plumbing Engineer

Kemac Metro Plumb

Newport, Swansea & Cardiff

40 hours per week (rota system in place)

Salary £33,000 - £38,000 DOE plus on-call & overtime (additional 5-6K per annum)

What’s involved?

We are looking for a confident plumber who can carry out all aspects of plumbing work, including but not limited to, installation and maintenance of toilets, taps, ball valves, siphons, flexible hoses, pipework, radiator valves, cylinders, heating systems etc across a range of domestic and commercial customers. You will attend primarily attend emergency plumbing jobs relating to installations/leaks/issues.

What are we looking for?
