Job summary

K10 Apprenticeships Limited is seeking a Plumbing & Domestic Heating Technician Apprentice to train on-site in Greenwich and surrounding London areas. You will learn to install, service and maintain plumbing and heating systems while working under supervision and progressing to industry standards.

The programme lasts 48 months, with college attendance, and ESFA-funded training. Applicants should have English and Maths GCSE (or Functional Skills) and a Level 2 Plumbing Studies Diploma; CSCS/JIB

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at GCSE Grade 3 or above or Functional Skills Level 1 or above.
• Level 2 Plumbing Studies Diploma completed.
• CSCS/JIB Card advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Accurately measure, cut, bend, and connect pipework.
• 1st and 2nd fix plumbing systems.
• Work on equipment including water pumps, thermostats, and valves.
• Waste, soil stacks, and rainwater pipework.
• Commissioning/decommissioning equipment and appliances.
• Maintain health and safety on site.
• Support training during Level 3 course.
