Job summary

Control Flow Technologies is seeking an experienced Plumber to join its Water Efficiency Team across Greater Manchester on a temp-to-perm basis. You’ll visit customers’ homes to install water-saving devices and carry out minor plumbing repairs, while managing your own schedule and delivering a high-quality service.

This field-based role offers regular planned work, overtime opportunities, travel expenses paid, a company pension, and the potential to become permanent.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 Plumbing qualification (minimum).
• Experience in plumbing maintenance and repairs.
• Full clean UK driving licence.
• Van with business use insurance or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Visit customers in homes to install water-saving devices.
• Carry out minor plumbing repairs and leak detection.

Sharp Talent is representing Control Flow Technologies. We're hiring experienced Plumbers to join our Water Efficiency Team, carrying out planned visits across Greater Manchester. You'll be helping customers save water, reduce waste, and improve efficiency by installing water-saving products and completing minor plumbing repairs.

This is a great opportunity for a hands-on Plumber who wants more than reactive call-outs — you'll have pre-booked appointments, a structured programme of work, and the freedom to manage your own schedule while delivering high-quality service.

The Role

In this role, you'll visit customers in their homes to complete installations, provide advice, and carry out minor plumbing works. You'll represent the company professionally, ensuring every customer receives a positive experience.

What You'll Be Doing

• Installing Control Flow water-saving devices
• Completing minor leak detection and plumbing repairs
• Working safely on and around water meters
• Advising customers on ways to reduce water usage
• Managing your own appointments, travel, and van stock
• Updating job details accurately through CRM systems
• Working towards daily and weekly installation targets

About Control Flow Technologies

Control Flow Technologies is a growing provider of specialist services within the utilities sector, working with major organisations to deliver practical solutions that help improve efficiency and reduce water usage. As a Plumber you'll join the Control Flow Technologies team and represent the company visiting customers in their homes, whilst working on a temporary contract through Sharp Talent.

What We're Looking For

• NVQ Level 2 Plumbing qualification (minimum)

• Full clean UK driving licence

• EUSR Water Hygiene (or willingness to obtain)
• Clear DBS check (or willingness to complete)
• A professional approach and confidence working in customers' homes
