Job summary

Sanctuary Group in Aberdeen is seeking a Trade Operative – Plumber to join our Responsive team. You will work across communal areas and tenanted properties, handling plumbing, toilet repairs, sink repairs and bathroom/kitchen replacements.

The role is mainly lone working but supported by a team of 14, with a full training plan and a company van/tools. The salary is £34,205–£36,006 per year, with 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am–16:30pm.

Qualifications

• SVQ Level 3 in a core subject or currently undertaking the qualification.
• Working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
• Good communication and customer care skills.
• Recent experience in a similar role.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out construction, fault fixing and maintenance duties in line with contract specifications.
• Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained and restocked as needed.
• Responding to complaints and breakdowns, resolving or triggering resolutions and keeping customers informed.
• Providing accurate and timely information on progress of works to customers.
