BJF Group is seeking an experienced Plumber Pipefitter to install commercial and industrial mechanical pipework systems. You will work on site in Guildford, supporting the M&E division with plumbing, testing and commissioning, and ensure adherence to safety and IMS policies.

The role requires 3–5 years’ hands-on experience, NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing & Pipework, G3 Unvented competence, and relevant accreditations, with a full UK driving license. A competitive benefits package is offered.

• 3–5 years’ experience in domestic/commercial/industrial plumbing and pipework.
• NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing & Pipework is required.
• G3 Unvented Competent Person certification is necessary.
• WRAS WIAPS accreditation is preferred.
• CSCS card and a full UK driving license are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Support the M&E division to deliver a varied portfolio of works.
• Install plumbing and pipework, carry out testing and commissioning.
• Work in line with method statements and safe systems of work.
• Review and update risk assessments at points of work.
• Ensure compliance with H&S and environmental policies and IMS.
• Respond to call outs as directed by customers and project teams.
• Conduct site safety audits and lead toolbox talks.
• Prepare bills of materials and raise material requisitions.
• Assist estimating teams with sale estimates where required.
• Promote health & safety culture and BJF TEAMS values.

Position

As part of our continued growth, our Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) division are looking to appoint an experienced Plumber Pipefitter to work on the installation of commercial and industrial mechanical pipework systems.

Further responsibilities of the role are as follows:

• Support the M&E division to deliver a varied portfolio of works.
• Plumbing & pipe work installation, testing & commissioning.
• Work in accordance with method statements and safe systems of Work.
• Review & update point of works risk assessments.
• Compliance with H&S and Environmental standards and policies.
• Compliance with company’s IMS system, policies and procedures.
• Respond to call outs as dictated by customers and project management teams.
• Site safety audits and tool box talks.
• Preparation of bill of materials, raising materials requisitions and management of site materials.
• Assist estimating teams with the preparation of sale estimates.
• Understand your responsibility for the health, safety and wellbeing of your team and the wider group, whilst promoting a positive health and safety culture throughout.
• Promote and live BJF TEAMS values.

Requirements

• 3-5 years’ experience domestic/commercial/industrial plumbing & pipework fitting and heating engineering.
• NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing & Pipework
• G3 Unvented Competent Person Certificate
• WRAS -Water Industry Approved Plumbers' Scheme (WIAPS)
• CSCS Card Holder
• Full UK driving license
