Job summary

Redditch Borough Council is seeking a Multi skilled plumber to carry out installations, repairs and maintenance to our housing stock across Redditch Borough. The role forms part of a shared service with Bromsgrove District Council.

Starting salary is £32,061 per annum (Grade 6). You will provide high quality customer service and contribute to reliable council services delivering essential housing maintenance.

Qualifications

• Relevant plumbing qualifications and certification.
• Proven experience as a plumber with a minimum of 2 years experience in the industry
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and equipment
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Competency or qualified in additional trades such as tiling and carpentry etc.

Responsibilities

• carry out plumbing installations and repairs and maintenance to residential properties.
• Install and repair piping, fixtures and appliances
• Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain high levels of professionalism at all times
• work on various general maintenance tasks as required

The role

Multi skilled plumber- carrying out plumbing installations and repairs and maintenance to our housing stock across Redditch Borough.
