Job summary

Bromsgrove District Council and Redditch Borough Council are seeking a multi skilled plumber to carry out plumbing installations and repairs to their housing stock across Redditch Borough. Starting salary £32,061 per annum (Grade 6).

The role requires diagnosing and troubleshooting plumbing issues, installing piping and fixtures, and providing excellent customer service in a professional manner. Generous staff benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Relevant plumbing qualifications and certification.
• Proven experience as a plumber with a minimum of 2 years experience in the industry.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and equipment.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Competency or qualified in additional trades such as tiling and carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plumbing installations and repairs and maintenance to residential properties.
• Install and repair piping, fixtures and appliances.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain high levels of professionalism.
• Work on various general maintenance tasks as required.
