Job description

Plumber Multi-trade

Industry: Housing

Location: Isle of Wight

Hours: 40 hours per week, plus out of hours call out on a rota basis

Days: Monday - Friday, plus out of hours call out on a rota basis

Duration: Permanent

Duties:

1. Installation, maintenance and repair of domestic plumbing including sanitary ware, baths, shower trays and associated equipment, kitchen sinks, internal and external pipework and sundry items, watermain and drainage supplies, heating system pipework.
2. Installation and repair of domestic appliances.
3. Vented and unvented cylinder heads, solid water storage tank maintenance and renewal.
4. Basic carpentry, plastering, tiling, decorating and assisting other trades where required.
5. Reporting and liaison with administrative staff.
6. Ensuring adherence to health and safety, quality and customer service standards.

Experience:

Must have practical skills with a minimum of NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) qualifications OR at least 5 years trade experience within occupied premises. Must have a good awareness of health and safety and the ability to work well on own initiative as well as part of a team. Must have a full driver's licence with a minimum of 1 year driving experience and at least basic computer literacy. The successful candidate will be subject to a DBS clearance.

Salary: £31,725 - 35,438 per annum, plus call out premium, tool allowance, van, fuel card, company pension and flexible benefits.
