Job summary

Metropolitan Thames Valley is looking for a Plumber Multi-Skilled to join our Property team in the East Midlands. You will install and maintain plumbing systems for residents, respond to routine issues, and support safe, high‑quality housing services.

This permanent, full‑time role offers a 40‑hour week (8am–6pm), a rotational second shift and an on‑call rota. A valid UK manual driving licence and NVQ2 or equivalent trade experience are required; a company van and fuel card are provided.

Qualifications

Experience in social housing or local authority environments.
NVQ2 qualification or equivalent trade experience.

Responsibilities

Support residents by installing and maintaining plumbing systems.
Be available for second shift and on-call rota on a rotational basis.

The role

Title: Plumber Multi‑Skilled

Location: East Midlands

Salary: £33,299 - £35,052

Working hours/pattern: 40 hours per week between 8am – 6pm. To support our residents, you will be required to participate in second shift and an out of hours on-call service on a rotational basis. Company van and fuel card provided.

Experience

Previously worked in a social housing or local authority environment
Relevant NVQ2 qualification or equivalent trade experience

Driving

A full UK manual driving licence (you will provided with your own Metworks van for working hours).
A minimum of one year of significant driving experience. (MTVH reserves the right to withdraw an offer of employment if company fleet policy is unable to secure adequate insurance.)
