Venatu Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Plumber to work on a secure prison project in Wakefield. This is a long-term opportunity for a skilled individual with a strong background in Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM).
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality plumbing maintenance in accordance with specification and scheduled works packages, ensuring full compliance and safety at all times.
Carry out routine and non-routine plumbing maintenance
Perform fault finding and provide effective solutions
Identify and report life-expired equipment
Check, repair, and replace plumbing systems as needed
Complete inspections, water sampling, and risk assessments
Conduct mains water supply repairs
Work in line with health and safety standards and approved method statements
Minimise material waste and promote efficient practices
Ensure statutory maintenance is delivered on time and is fully compliant
NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing (or equivalent)
Full UK Driving Licence
Experience with Maximo or similar maintenance management systems
Competent in the use of light plant equipment
Comfortable working at height and in all weather conditions
Ongoing, long-term project
Supportive and professional working environment
Full PPE and site-specific training provided
