Job summary

One Way is seeking an experienced plumber to join an ongoing programme of school refurbishment projects across Hampshire. You will carry out plumbing and heating works in both occupied and unoccupied school buildings, installing, modifying and maintaining heating systems, FCUs, radiators and steel pipework.

The role requires reliability and the ability to work to deadlines with strong health and safety practices; offers immediate start, ongoing work, weekly pay and potential long‑term

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial plumbing and heating (industrial/education sector).
• Experience working with steel pipework, radiators and FCUs.
• Own tools and transport.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant plumbing qualifications (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent).
• CSCS or appropriate site skills card may be required depending on the site.
• DBS may be advantageous but not essential depending on project.

Responsibilities

Duties Include

• Installation, modification and maintenance of heating systems.
• Working on radiators, steel pipework, and fan coil units (FCUs).
• Alterations and repairs to existing pipework.
• Pressure testing and commissioning where required.
• Working to programme deadlines while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
• Following all site health and safety procedures.

Requirements
