Our client, a specialist building services provider operating throughout Hampshire, Surrey, and Sussex, is looking for a plumber. The role involves work in and around Hampshire, with potential to travel further (Sussex, Surrey, etc.). The plumber will be allocated local jobs daily to minimize travel, including sites such as local authorities (reactive and void works), education providers in occupied student accommodation, commercial buildings, lecture theatres, and offices.

Position Remuneration

Responsibilities

• Carrying out emergency works, leak repairs, remedial works, and occasional small installations or replacements of domestic and commercial plumbing systems (pipework, WCs, basins, showers, baths, etc.) in various sites such as student accommodation, universities, social housing, and offices.

Qualifications

• Minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in plumbing and heating
• Based within a commutable distance of Portsmouth
• Full UK driving license
• At least 3 years of experience in remedial and repair work on plumbing systems (e.g., leaks, burst pipes)

Additional Skills (Preferred)

Multiskilled in general fabric works and building repairs such as plastering, door hanging, or basic carpentry.
