Job summary

Insignis in Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole seeks an experienced Plumber to join our Responsive Repairs Team on a full-time basis. The role covers repairs to domestic plumbing, sanitary ware installation, kitchen sinks, and new pipe work in occupied premises with a strong customer-service focus.

The position is 40 hours per week with overtime and call-out opportunities. A valid driving licence and ability to drive the company van are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Plumbing.
• Experience in occupied premises and delivering excellent customer service.
• Ability to travel and drive a company van.

Responsibilities

• Repairs to domestic plumbing installations.
• Install replacement sanitary ware, baths, and related fittings.
• Install kitchen sinks and new copper, speed fit, and waste pipe work.
• Repair and install water mains, heating pipe work, and drainage components.
• Install and service domestic appliances such as showers and washing machines.

Job description

A client of mine who is a Large Housing Association and Property Maintenance Company are looking to Recruit an experienced Plumber on a full time permanent basis to join their Responsive Repairs Team in the Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole.

Tasks to include:

• Repairs to domestic plumbing installations
• Vinyl Floor Laying
• Installation of replacement sanitary ware and baths, shower trays and level decks and associated equipment
• Installation of kitchen sinks
• Installation of new pipe work (copper, speed fit, waste, rainwater)
• Installation of new sundry items such as taps and ball valves
• Repairs to sundry items
• Installing and repairing water mains supplies, heating system pipe work and drainage stop taps
• Installing and fixing domestic appliances like showers and washing machines
• Vented and unvented cylinder heads (HWSS qualified or alternative)
• Cold water storage tank maintenance and renewalSkills & Qualifications

You should have a minimum of NVQ level 2 or equivalent in Plumbing and have demonstrable experience in all aspects of this core trade. You will have experience of working in occupied premises and be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills.

This is a full time role, working 40 Hours per week, with the opportunity to supplement your salary through call out and overtime when required.

Due to the requirement to travel within this role, you must hold a full and current driving licence with a minimum of 2 years driving experience and have the ability to drive a company van.
