We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in various settings. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing techniques and the ability to work with residential systems. The Plumber will ensure that all installations comply with safety regulations and industry standards.

Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures, pipes, and systems in residential properties
• Assemble and install valves, fittings, and pipes using hand tools and power tools.
• Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential problems.
• Weld or solder piping as required for various installations.
• Conduct heavy lifting tasks associated with the installation of plumbing systems.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, including joiners, to ensure seamless project completion.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while on-site.

Skills

• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to plumbing tasks.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
• Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations during installations.
• Experience in commercial driving is advantageous for transporting materials to job sites.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by specific plumbing tasks.
• Knowledge of welding techniques is beneficial for certain installations.
