Job summary

JRL Modular is seeking a Semi-Skilled Plumber / Pipe Fitter to join our Newark factory team. You will install and fit plumbing systems inside modular bathrooms and utility units before they leave the factory.

This factory-based role focuses on assembling pipework to our specifications. Full training on our methods is provided; practical experience matters most. Working hours are 7:30am to 4pm Monday to Thursday, and 7:30am to 3pm on Fridays.

Qualifications

• Practical plumbing or pipework experience required.
• Ability to measure, cut and join pipe.
• Able to follow instructions and drawings.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Willingness to learn new methods and work as part of a team.
• Plumbing qualification or partial apprenticeship desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Install and assemble water pipework and waste pipework inside modular units
• Measure, cut, join and secure pipe to drawings and specifications
• Fit and connect basins, toilets, showers and utility units
• Check completed work for leaks and security
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and follows procedures
• Work alongside assembly teams to meet production schedules
• Keep work areas clean and tidy at all times
• Follow all Health & Safety guidelines and support other team members where required

ABOUT THE ROLE

JRL Modular is looking for a Semi-Skilled Plumber / Pipe Fitter to join our production team at the Newark factory. You will install and fit plumbing systems inside our modular bathrooms and utility units before they leave the factory.

This is a factory-based role assembling pipework and fittings to our specifications. Full training on our specific methods will be provided — we are looking for someone with basic practical plumbing knowledge who wants to develop their skills in a structured manufacturing environment.

Working hours: 7:30am to 4pm Monday to Thursday, Friday 7.30am to 3pm.

• Install and assemble water pipework and waste pipework inside modular units
