Job summary

i-Jobs is seeking a Plumber for the Council Offices in Loughborough. Starting ASAP, the 3+ month contract runs Monday–Thursday 8am–4pm and Friday 8am–3:30pm, 37 hours per week, on-site. Pay is £14.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include reactive repairs, fault diagnosis, and safe, compliant maintenance in council tenanted properties. Ideal candidates will have standard plumbing qualification or substantial experience, strong workmanship, team skills, and excellent health and safety awareness.

Qualifications

  • Standard plumbing qualification or substantial practical plumbing experience.
  • Strong practical plumbing and maintenance skills.
  • Experience carrying out reactive repairs, preferably within residential or social housing properties.
  • Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • High standard of workmanship with strong attention to detail.
  • Customer-focused approach and professional communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good understanding of health and safety requirements.
  • Reliable, punctual and able to manage a daily workload effectively.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
  • Able to provide a CV and complete a Confidentiality Agreement
