Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Plumber to join a reactive maintenance team in Redditch and surrounding areas. The role involves plumbing repairs and general maintenance in occupied domestic properties, with a CIS-based hourly rate and supportive recruiter backing.

There is a minimum 5-month contract with 42.5 hours per week, van and fuel card provided, and weekly pay. A long-term temp-to-perm opportunity is offered with ongoing support.

Qualifications

• NVQ or City & Guilds L2 in Plumbing.
• Experience in social housing, council or domestic property repairs.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to perform basic secondary trades (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Carry out a variety of carpentry repairs in domestic/social housing settings.
• Deliver high-quality maintenance in occupied properties.
• Conduct secondary trade work to a competent standard (e.g., basic carpentry, tiling, etc.).
• Maintain excellent customer service throughout your visits.
