Job summary

LG Project Consultancy Ltd seeks an experienced Commercial Plumber for a project at Liverpool John Moores University with an immediate start. Expect a minimum 5 weeks of work, with potential progression to additional projects on successful completion. Paid weekly at £28.50 per hour, parking available nearby.

Role involves installation of Mikrofil units, copper press-fit pipework, Unistrut brackets, and drainage systems, plus assisting the Project Manager and maintaining a tidy site.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing or equivalent is required.
• Valid CSCS or JIB/Skill Card is essential.
• Commercial plumbing experience is required.
• Experience with copper press-fit installations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install Mikrofil units, dosing pots and expansion vessels in riser cupboards.
• Install copper press-fit pipework (15mm & 22mm).
• Install Unistrut bracket systems.
• Install solvent weld drainage pipework (32mm & 42mm).
• Perform general plumbing installation works on site.
• Support the Project Manager with day-to-day site activities.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.

Education

Pay Rate: £28.50 per hour

Duration: Minimum 5 Weeks (Further Work Available)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Plumber to join our client on a project at Liverpool John Moores University, with an immediate start available.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure at least 5 weeks' work, with the opportunity to move directly onto another project upon successful completion.

The Role

• Installation of Mikrofil units, dosing pots and expansion vessels within riser cupboards.
• Copper press-fit pipework (15mm & 22mm).
• Installation of Unistrut bracket systems.
• Solvent weld drainage pipework (32mm & 42mm).
• General plumbing installation works.
• Assisting the Project Manager with day-to-day site activities.
• Maintaining a clean and organised working environment.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 7:30am - 4:00pm

Pay

• £28.50 per hour
• Weekly pay
• Immediate start

Parking

Parking is available opposite the site at a cost of £7.00 per day.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent).
• Valid CSCS or JIB/Skill Card.
• Previous commercial plumbing experience.
• Experience with copper press-fit installations.
• Own hand tools and PPE.
• Ability to start immediately.
