Construction Resources Limited is seeking a Plumber / Multi-Trade Operative in Guildford and surrounding areas to perform plumbing repairs and related multi-trade tasks in residential settings.

You will handle tiling, carpentry, plastering and decorating with a focus on quality and customer service. This permanent, full-time role offers up to £38,000 depending on experience, a company van and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Plumbing, or equivalent.
• Valid Unvented Hot Water Systems Certificate.
• Experience across tiling, carpentry, plastering and decorating.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Own, well-maintained tool kit.
• Knowledge of social housing repairs and maintenance.
• Strong health and safety awareness.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plumbing works including leak detection and hot/cold water repairs.
• Install bathroom and kitchen fittings.
• Carry out wall and floor tiling.
• Undertake 1st and 2nd fix carpentry.
• Carry out patch plastering and making good.
• Complete painting and decorating.
• Record works using a mobile app.
• Follow risk assessments and health and safety procedures.
• Work across occupied residential properties.
• Support apprentices and participate in on-call rotas.

Salary: Up to £38,000 depending on experience

The Role

We are recruiting on behalf of an established property services contractor for a skilled Plumber / Multi-Trade Operative to join their team in Guildford. The role will involve carrying out plumbing repairs alongside wider multi-trade works across residential properties, with a focus on quality, first-time fixes and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out plumbing works including leak detection, hot and cold water repairs, immersion tanks and bathroom/kitchen installations

• Complete wall and floor tiling

• Undertake 1st and 2nd fix carpentry

• Carry out patch plastering and making good

• Complete painting and decorating

• Record completed works accurately using a mobile app

• Complete risk assessments and follow health and safety procedures

• Work across occupied residential properties

• Support apprentices where required

• Participate in out-of-hours support or emergency callout rotas when required

About You

• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Plumbing, or equivalent

• Valid Unvented Hot Water Systems Certificate

• Experience across multiple trades including tiling, carpentry, plastering and decorating

• Ability to safely isolate and test electrical components

• Full UK Driving Licence

• Own, well-maintained tool kit

• Knowledge of social housing repairs and maintenance

• Strong health and safety awareness

• Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
