Job summary

Cameron Clarke Associates t/a talent-finder is recruiting a Plumber – Field/Home Based. This full-time role (Mon-Fri) in the Dudley area offers £33,000-£38,000 per year plus bonus and overtime, with earnings potentially over £40,000.

You will inspect, service and fault-find plumbing in domestic and commercial properties and mains water repairs, with NVQ/City & Guilds qualifications preferred.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 City & Guilds in plumbing or time served.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Minimum Diploma2 with intent to achieve NVQ2.

Responsibilities

• Meet customer service standards and reasonable expectations.
• Carry out a wide range of work to a high standard and maintain productivity.
• Attend responsive repairs, diagnose faults and remedial actions.
• Power flush heating systems, remove and fit radiators.
• Provide cover to other engineers and participate in the on-call rota.
• Liaise with despatcher and customers for access and works.

The role will entail inspecting, servicing, and fault-finding plumbing in both domestic and commercial properties and mains water repair work.

What will your role look like?

• Working as part of a team, you will ensure that you meet Customer service standards and reasonable expectations
• Carry out a wide range of work, dependent on demand, to a high standard and ensuring high levels of productivity at all times
• To attend responsive repairs, diagnose faults and undertake remedial actions
• Power flushing Heating systems, removing and fitting new radiators
• Provide support and cover to other engineers and participate in the "out of hours" service provision duty rota
• Liaise with despatcher for appointments, access and work details as necessary; Liaise with customers to arrange access and to discuss works

Our client opened in 2005. They are a family-run business that works under a franchise for Dyno-Plumbing & Heating, which is owned by British Gas.

Through their team of 26 qualified Plumbers with a minimum of NVQ Level 2, they offer all plumbing work from a leaking stop tap to full bathroom installation, as well as upgrading hot water systems to an unvented system.
