Key responsibilities:

All below activities to be carried out under supervision:

• Carry out daily/weekly PPM’s, Maintenance inspections
• Carry out Plumbing installations to current regulations
• Carry out plumbing repairs to site
• Carry out planned plumbing inspections
• Detect and correct or report all plumbing building defects
• General building maintenance and repairs
• Fill out maintenance worksheets on Service Desk
• Working at heights from ladders/cherry pickers
• Repair aspects of the building structure within boundaries of competent skill base
• Liaise with contractors for specialist works
• Assist site facilities on maintenance projects and installations in time within budget that delivers expected improvements
• Assist in the maintenance of the EMA Hub to keep it functional at all times
• Assist in carrying out all plumbing PPM (Planned and Preventative Maintenance) in line with set schedules for EMA Hub to comply with legislative compliance
• Support in responding to call out queries and carry out repairs as required
• Follow electrical maintenance procedures for the EMA Hub
• Liaise effectively with Colleagues and the Facilities Help Desk with regards to maintenance requests
• Assist in ensuring the plumbing and electrical components of the EMA Hub are functional and installed within best practice, H&S and regulatory guide lines
• Contribute to the mapping of historical unmapped site services

You’ll bring to this role:

• Apprentice trained plumber to at least City and Guilds level 3 Diploma
• FLT licence preferable
• Full driving licence
• Skilled with use of all power tools associated with DIY and maintenance
• 17th Edition wiring regulations trained
• Ability to work under pressure
• A safety first attitude. You must conduct yourself in an orderly manner within the workplace, ensuring that correct uniform and PPE is worn when required.
