Job summary

PLM is a PE-backed technology innovator at the forefront of 3D visualisation and digital engineering. We seek a PLM Consultant to work with clients across engineering and manufacturing, translating requirements into practical PLM solutions and configuring systems to match workflows.

With 2–4 years in consultancy, you bring Windchill, Creo or ThingWorx experience and an IT or engineering background. This role blends hands-on design with advisory work and growth within a close-knit team.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in consultancy or a client-facing role.
• Understanding of PLM, digital transformation or engineering software environments.
• Experience with PTC solutions such as Windchill, Creo or ThingWorx.
• Background in IT, industrial design, mechanical engineering, manufacturing or a related field.
• Ability to gather requirements and translate them into practical solution recommendations.
• Basic project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Understand client product lifecycle challenges and design, configure and implement PLM solutions.
• Gather and analyse client requirements across product development, manufacturing and lifecycle management.
• Translate business needs into clear PLM recommendations and solution designs.
• Configure PLM systems to match client workflows, rules and industry requirements.
• Support software installation, configuration, customization and data migration.
• Integrate PLM with wider enterprise systems such as ERP, CAD, CRM and IoT platforms.
• Lead implementation activity, keeping projects on track against timelines and budgets.
• Deliver training and workshops to help client teams get the most from the system.
• Provide technical support and act as an escalation point for PLM-related issues.
• Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor throughout the project.
• Stay current on PLM trends, best practice and emerging digital transformation technologies.

What will your day to day look like?

You’ll work closely with clients to understand their product lifecycle challenges, then design, configure and implement PLM solutions that improve how their teams manage product data, workflows and engineering processes. This role will suit you if you...

• 2-4 years' experience in consultancy or a similar client-facing role
• Understanding of PLM, digital transformation or engineering software environments
• Experience with PTC solutions such as Windchill, Creo or ThingWorx

• Basic project management experience
• Clear communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Confidence running workshops, training sessions and client conversations
• Strong listening skills and solid consulting acumen
• Self-driven, proactive and comfortable managing your own workload
• Ability to adapt to different client environments and project requirements
• A drive to keep developing your technical and consulting skills
