Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in Manchester seeks a PLM Configurator to configure Siemens Teamcenter and NX per approved designs. You will translate specifications into robust PLM/CAD behaviours, set up BMIDE objects, workflows and Active Workspace components, and support NX integration within a Teamcenter environment.

Working in a multidisciplinary team, you will participate in testing, deployment and controlled configuration changes across environments, with a hybrid working model and access to

Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience configuring Siemens Teamcenter and/or Siemens NX in delivery projects.
• Practical understanding of PLM concepts such as items, revisions, datasets, BOMs and workflows.
• Ability to translate designs and configuration workbooks into working system configuration.
• Knowledge of BMIDE, organization structures, workflows, and access controls.
• Familiarity with NX configuration in a managed Teamcenter environment.

Responsibilities

• Configure Siemens Teamcenter and/or NX per approved technical designs and standards.
• Translate configuration specifications into working PLM/CAD behaviors.
• Configure Teamcenter objects, attributes, and workflows as required.
• Support BMIDE data model updates and deployment packages where relevant.
• Configure Active Workspace elements, stylesheets, and user-facing components.
• Support NX configuration activities, including templates and data structures.
