Job summary

ETS Consulting Ltd, on behalf of a world-leading specialist paper and packaging group, is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their site in Stalybridge on a permanent basis. You will execute planned and unplanned maintenance, work to high safety standards, and use SAP to record activities; shift pattern rotates with mornings, afternoons and nights.

Qualifications

Electrician/apprentice trained engineer.
Experience with PLC systems and automated machinery.
Understanding of Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) systems.

Responsibilities

Execute planned and unplanned maintenance activities to a high standard and safety.
Ensure all site assets are maintained to meet site requirements and reliability.
Use SAP to capture maintenance activities (training provided).
Provide engineering support to achieve site KPIs and standards.
Apply robust and clearly communicated safe systems of work with risk assessments.
Ensure parts are booked out correctly to support stock control.
Collaborate effectively with the engineering and production teams.
Be flexible with working hours (shift cover, overtime).
Demonstrate good communication and fault-finding skills.
