Job summary

Aughton Primary Academy is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Midday Supervisor to supervise children during lunch and playtimes, including EYFS, in the dinner hall and around school spaces. The role may involve working at other academies within the trust.

You will promote imaginative games, encourage safe use of playground equipment, and work with colleagues to support pupils' wellbeing and safety during break times, while observing safeguarding policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to supervise children during lunch and playtimes.
• Willingness to promote imaginative games and safe play.
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure pupil safety and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils in the dinner hall, EYFS provision, and outdoor/indoor areas during lunch and playtime.
• Model and encourage safe, inclusive play and lead playground games.
• Monitor behaviour and support positive interactions among pupils.
