Job summary

Oasis Academy Henderson Avenue, Scunthorpe, is seeking a committed Play Worker to support pupils at lunchtimes, ensuring access to a range of play equipment in line with Opal Play guidance.

You will work closely with lunchtime staff to promote safe, engaging play and to develop imaginative play opportunities for pupils, while adhering to safeguarding practices.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at C grade or above.
• Experience of supporting pupils with lunchtime play.
• Awareness of Child Safeguarding.
• Ability to effectively communicate with pupils and staff and ensure access to a variety of play equipment to develop imaginative play.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across lunchtimes to access play equipment.
• Ensure safe, inclusive play in line with Opal Play standards.
• Collaborate with support and lunchtime staff to manage equipment and activities.
