Job Opportunity: Playworker at Afterschool and Holiday Club

Nurse Seekers is proud to represent a quality Afterschool and Holiday Club Childcare provider that offers wraparound care. They are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Playworker to join their wonderful centre in Bournemouth.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Implement a varied, stimulating, and exciting range of activities that meet children's developmental needs.
  • Ensure the facility is ready for use by setting up and clearing away.
  • Work as part of a highly motivated and professional team.
  • Establish positive relationships with children and their families.
  • Collaborate closely with school staff and support the whole school ethos.
The Ideal Candidate Will Be Able To
  • Adhere to and promote all school policies.
  • Safeguard children and promote health and safety.
  • Promote good practice in a professional and inclusive manner.
  • Maintain close liaison with class teachers to respond appropriately to children's needs.
  • Take responsibility for personal professional development, including participating in annual appraisals, training, and staying informed on current issues related to this service.
