Portsmouth YMCA Fairthorne Group is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to join our YMCA Portsmouth Nursery. You will support learning through play, build trusting relationships and help children grow confidence and independence while following the EYFS framework.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification, working towards one, or transferable experience.
• Caring, patient, dependable and enthusiastic about helping children thrive.
• Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, carers and colleagues.
• Commitment to inclusive, play-based learning and outdoor experiences.
• Follow the EYFS framework and complete observations and records, including safer-recruitment checks.
