Job summary

5 Star Recruitment is seeking an Early Childhood Practitioner to contribute to developmentally appropriate, child-centred, play-based provision for young children, delivering a nurturing environment to promote emotional stability, independence and creativity.

The role involves fostering strong partnerships with families and professionals, safeguarding, observation, assessment and planning, and supporting inclusive practice with children under 5. Flexibility for shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• GCSE English at grade C or above.
• Minimum Level 3 qualification in childcare/early years practice with placements.
• Experience with children under 5 in an early years setting.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development of play-based provision for young children.
• Foster positive relationships with professionals to access integrated services.
• Develop partnerships with parents and involve them in their child’s education.
• Provide care and support to children in outreach services in partnership with parents.
