Job summary

Martins Wood School in Stevenage is seeking a caring, flexible lunchtime Play Assistant to support children's activities during the lunch break. You will work as part of a supportive team, lead activities and help with organising resources to ensure safe, enjoyable play.

The role is 1 hour 15 minutes per day, Monday to Friday, term time only. Induction and safeguarding processes are provided; DBS checks are required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children is desirable.
• Good communication and organisational skills.

Job description

We are a large, innovative primary school looking for a caring, flexible, enthusiastic lunchtime Play Assistant to support children's activities during their lunch break in a variety of ways. You will be working within a fun, supportive and motivated team. You will have responsibility for leading activities and organising resources.

This contract is for 1 hour 15 minutes per day, Monday to Friday, term time only.

We have a clear and thorough induction process to build initial confidence and awareness of whole school approaches and expectations.
