Job summary

A leading tech company in Liverpool is seeking an Observability and Telemetry Lead for a contract role until December 2025. The position requires expertise in PHP, Python, and various monitoring tools, supporting systems on Linux and Windows. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of EaaS evolution, databases, and cloud virtualization across various platforms.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of various monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, ITRS, and Elastic APM.
• Experience with APIs, ETL processes, and scripting.
• Familiarity with OpenShift, Docker, and Kubernetes is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead observability and telemetry initiatives, ensuring effective monitoring solutions.
• Collaborate with teams to implement and optimize various monitoring tools.
• Utilize cloud models for operational efficiency.

Key Skills/ requirements

• Well versed in working on Linux and Windows System
• Experience on Monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, ITRS, Elastic APM, Grafana, etc.

Good to have:

• Working experience in Angular, NodeJS, etc
• Working experience on APIs, ETL processes and scripting.
• Good understanding of Openshift, Docker, Kubernetes, Containerization and Cloud models – IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, Infrastructure virtualization
