Job summary

Harvey Nash IT Recruitment UK partners with a London Borough to recruit a Platform Specialist to manage and secure a cloud-first Microsoft environment supporting essential public services.

You will own core Microsoft platforms, driving security, automation and continuous improvement across the organisation's infrastructure estate, with hybrid working in Harrow/London.

Qualifications

• Experience administering Microsoft 365 and hybrid Exchange environments.
• Strong AD and identity services troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of security best practices and IAM principles.
• Experience with Defender or Sentinel for security monitoring.
• Ability to develop PowerShell automation to improve operations.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to platform upgrades, security improvements and cloud adoption initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support Microsoft 365 and Hybrid Exchange environments
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and identity services

Essential Skills
