Job summary

Alloyed Limited in Abingdon, UK, is building a new software platform to consolidate engineering tooling for AM microturbine design. We are hiring a software engineer to wrap C++/C# modules, integrate with cloud compute, and collaborate with aerothermal and mechanical engineers.

You will help productionise internal code, work in a fast-paced agile team, and contribute to equity incentives as part of a cutting-edge metal engineering startup.

Qualifications

• Degree in science, engineering or computer science (2:1 minimum).
• Proficient in C# or C++ and Python.
• Excellent understanding of software design patterns and best practices.
• Highly effective communicator who collaborates well.
• Organised and self-motivated, able to own large projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain modules within Alloyed's design platform.
• Integrate modules into a secure, cloud-based compute platform.
• Work within a young, fast-paced, agile development team with aerothermal and mechanical engineers.
• Define and implement software solutions to automate existing manual workflows.
• Collaborate to solve complex problems with innovative solutions.
