Job summary

Tesco Technology is seeking a Security Engineering Manager for Workplace Technology. You will lead a team of security engineers, drive platform security initiatives and ensure delivery of high-quality security outcomes across enterprise platforms.

You will mentor staff, align security priorities with business goals, and maintain strong engineering culture while embracing AI-enabled improvements. Hybrid work model in the UK is supported.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading technical teams and coaching staff.
• Ability to define and execute strategic roadmaps tied to business objectives.
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience embracing change and enabling new tools while preserving service continuity.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a diverse team of security engineers ensuring high performance.
• Deliver the Platform Security roadmap with new capabilities and operating models.
• Balance day-to-day operations with long-term security improvements and risk focus.
• Engage stakeholders across Platform Security, Technology and Business to align priorities.
• Embed a product/service mindset with measurable, outcome-driven changes.
