Sky is seeking a Platform QA Operator on a fixed-term contract until January 2027 to ensure on-demand and OTT content meets quality and accessibility standards across Sky Q, Sky Go, NOW and related platforms.
You will perform structured QA checks, investigate issues, and collaborate with editorial and engineering teams to support resolutions. This role offers exposure to content operations, streaming services, incident management and customer experience assurance.
We don’t just believe in better. We make it happen. Better content. Better products. And better careers. Working in Tech, Product or Data at Sky is about building the next and the new. From broadband to broadcast, streaming to mobile, Sky Stream to Sky Glass, we never stand still. We optimise and innovate. We turn big ideas into the products, content and services millions of people love. And we do it all right here at Sky.
Sky creates and delivers brilliant content and customer experiences across television, streaming and digital platforms. Within Content eXperience & Distribution, Platform QA provides a vital final quality checkpoint, checking how content appears and performs across Sky services before and after release. The team combines structured quality assurance, customer-focused testing and clear operational reporting. By finding issues early, assessing their impact and driving effective escalation, Platform QA helps protect the viewing experience across Sky Q, Sky+, Sky Glass and Sky Stream, Sky Go and NOW. We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join Platform QA, a team within Content eXperience & Distribution. As a Platform Quality Assurance Operator, you will assess on-demand and OTT content across multiple platforms and devices to confirm it is available, accurate, discoverable and plays as expected. This is a hands-on operational role for someone who combines excellent attention to detail with sound judgement, clear communication and a genuine interest in content and technology. You will investigate defects, record evidence, communicate customer impact and work with operational and technical teams to support resolution. No two shifts are exactly the same. One moment you may be checking a priority release on Sky Glass; the next you may be investigating a search, metadata, subtitle, imagery or playback issue across Sky Q, Sky Go or NOW. The role offers practical experience across content operations, streaming services, incident management and customer experience assurance.
At Sky, we want to be a community that thrives by being together. Flexible working remains a key part of that. We want our people to have the best of both worlds – time working at home, as well as time in the office. The hybrid working expectations are a minimum of 2 days in the office per week.
