Job summary

Yapily Ltd is seeking a senior product leader to own the account, identity, and access layer that underpins all Yapily products. You will set strategy and standards, own contracts used across teams, and steer data products such as analytics and reporting while partnering with engineering and commercial teams on pricing and go-to-market.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management, with a strong track record on platform, infrastructure, or API products.
• Strong technical foundation: lead architecture and API discussions with engineers.
• Think in systems; design shared services that scale across products.
• Owned foundational services such as identity, accounts, permissions, or an API gateway.
• Familiar with multi-tenant architecture and enterprise access: RBAC/SSO/SCIM/OAuth2/SAML/OpenID.
• Built data products like analytics or reporting APIs; integrated billing, CRM, entitlements.
• Able to align stakeholders and explain trade-offs to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Commercial fluency: understand enterprise buyers and partner on packaging/go-to-market.
• Sound judgment on prioritisation and build-versus-buy; confident to say no.
• Experience in regulated fintech/payments/banking data handling; eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Own strategy, roadmap, and data models for core services: applications, identity, access, and API gateway.
• Expose services via clean, versioned APIs; evolve them without breaking customers.
• Own and monetise data products such as analytics and reporting APIs from discovery to launch.
• Own enterprise capabilities for upmarket: SSO, RBAC, audit, usage, entitlements, multi-organisation.
• Extend identity and access to AI agents with time-bound, revocable credentials.
• Provide authorization foundations for agent access, including OAuth flows (MCP, federated).
• Integrate platform with billing, CRM, compliance tools; maintain data consistency.
• Balance requirements from multiple product teams; prioritise foundational investment.
• Collaborate with engineering on scope, trade-offs, and build-vs-buy; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Partner with commercial/marketing on pricing, packaging, go-to-market; share platform view.
• Define and track platform metrics: adoption, reliability, latency, data quality, satisfaction.
