Job summary

Sage is seeking a Product Manager for Regulatory Reporting & Filing in Newcastle. You will own the strategy for platform services handling VAT returns, indirect tax and statutory submissions, partnering with compliance, tax specialists and in-country teams to deliver reliable, scalable capabilities.

You’ll operate in a highly matrixed environment, driving prioritisation with a ruthless focus on regulatory commitments, customer outcomes and platform health, while exploring AI-enhanced discovery

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Product Manager delivering software products or shared services.
• Strong ability to translate evolving requirements into clear outcomes and strategy.
• Experience operating in a matrixed organisation with autonomy and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Own the product strategy and roadmap for Regulatory Reporting & Filing services.
• Collaborate with compliance teams, tax specialists and in-country experts on regulatory changes.
• Define platform capabilities for VAT returns, indirect tax, and statutory submissions.
• Lead discovery to uncover reporting challenges and opportunities for simplification.
• Balance priorities across countries with transparent, evidence-based trade-offs.
