Job summary

Sage is hiring a Product Manager for Regulatory Reporting & Filing, based in Newcastle with hybrid work. You will own the product strategy for VAT and statutory submissions, balancing regulatory obligations with customer needs, and coordinating with compliance, tax and engineering teams to deliver scalable platform services.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Product Manager delivering software products, platform capabilities or shared services.
• Strong understanding of product strategy, roadmapping and prioritisation.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into clear product outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own the product strategy and roadmap for Regulatory Reporting & Filing services.
• Turn regulatory change into clear product direction with compliance and tax experts.
• Define platform capabilities for VAT returns, indirect tax reporting and statutory submissions.
• Lead discovery to understand reporting challenges and opportunities for simplification.
• Manage competing priorities across countries with evidence-based trade-offs.
• Collaborate with engineering, legal, tax, and go-to-market teams to deliver reliable services.
• Monitor adoption and performance, iterating on improvements as needed.
• Apply AI to accelerate research, discovery and decision making, with material evidence validation.
