Job summary

H Company in the United Kingdom is building the infrastructure behind all products: clusters, networking and security. You’ll join the team responsible for moving from AWS to an environment-agnostic platform, shaping how infrastructure supports every model release and customer.

From day one, you’ll own Kubernetes clusters and networking, build authentication systems, create Kubernetes-native services, write infrastructure as code, and help drive performance for our Forward Deployed Engineers.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python or Go for real problem solving.
• Experience building and operating a Kubernetes-based platform at scale.
• Knowledge of multiple cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) or strong systems engineering basics (Linux, eBPF).
• Experience with infrastructure as code, CI/CD and observability tooling.

Responsibilities

• Run and scale Kubernetes clusters and networking.
• Build authentication and authorization systems.
• Refactor the stack to be environment agnostic.
• Speed up deployment for Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs).
• Build Kubernetes-native services, such as controllers and operators.
• Write and maintain infrastructure as code.
