Job summary

Anaplan is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Environment Tooling team within Platform Engineering, driving DevOps and platform transformation. You will coach and develop six engineers, oversee Argo CD ownership, and report to the Senior Director of Platform Engineering.

Qualifications

• Experience leading platform, infrastructure, or DevOps engineering teams with mentoring and technical decision-making.
• Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, GitOps workflows, and Infrastructure as Code.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a high-performing platform engineering team, focusing on career development and skill enhancement.

• Refine team processes with a pragmatic Agile mindset and manage sprint commitments.
• Collaborate with peer platform managers to align roadmaps and goals.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery of Environment Tooling initiatives, including scoping and milestones.
• Own Argo CD across the platform and govern feature-flag tooling and strategy.
• Direct on-call rotation to ensure deployment pipeline stability during downtime.
• Set governance for non-production environments and design orchestration tooling.
