Trust in SODA is seeking a Managing & Lead Platform Engineer for a major UK government digital transformation project. You will lead the platform engineering function, shaping DevOps strategy and driving delivery across a multi-year program.

Expect to own IaC (Terraform, Ansible), CI/CD (GitOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and Observability (OTel, Dynatrace, Grafana), while providing leadership to teams and guiding change across the stack. Hybrid working and client travel are offered.

Formación

• Experience leading platform engineering teams
• Strong IaC experience with Terraform and Ansible
• Hands-on CI/CD delivery using GitOps, GitHub Actions and Jenkins
• Proven leadership and people-management capabilities

They are now looking for a Managing & Lead Platform Engineer to join their team and help with the ongoing support, optimisation and scaling of this project. Their ideal candidate would be an expert within:

• IaC (Terraform, Ansible)
• CI/CD (GitOps, Github Actions, Jenkins)
• Observability (OTel, Dynatrace, Grafana)
• Leadership / Line Management
