Job summary

La Fosse is hiring its first dedicated Platform Engineering Manager to own the function, define strategy and grow a team supporting multiple squads across the organisation. You will lead platform vision, operating model and roadmap, drive self-service tooling and cloud infrastructure, and partner with senior technology leaders to boost developer productivity and experience.

This is a high-ownership role set in a fintech/regulated environment with significant investment to advance platform

Qualifications

Experience leading Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, Cloud Engineering or Infrastructure teams.
Proven success scaling engineering functions in growing organisations.
Strong people leadership: hiring, coaching and developing teams.
Technical credibility across modern cloud and platform technologies.

Responsibilities

Lead and grow a Platform Engineering team, with plans to expand over the next 12 months.
Define platform vision, operating model and roadmap.
Drive adoption of self-service tooling and developer platforms.
Partner with senior technology leaders to improve developer experience and productivity.
Build relationships across engineering, data and technology teams.
Establish platform standards, governance and ways of working.
Recruit, mentor and develop Platform Engineers as the function scales.
