Job summary

Radius is seeking a Technical Platform Manager to lead a software development team focusing on our telematics platform. You will plan, coordinate and implement new and existing features while working across NodeJS, TypeScript and C# in a containerised cloud environment, preferably AWS.

The role reports to the Head of Engineering and sits at our Crewe head office. You'll manage delivery, set team objectives, and drive technical excellence with a pragmatic business mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience building and leading high-performing development teams.
• Software background with stack NodeJS, TypeScript and C# and modern web UI frameworks.
• Experience building and scaling SaaS on containerised cloud platforms, preferably AWS, with CI/CD and DevOps.
• Experience managing a development pipeline and task allocation.
• Ability to understand complex business processes and system architecture for change impact.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Team collaboration mindset and pragmatic delivery focus.
• Professional approach and business ethics.

Responsibilities

• Own scheduling and delivery of development tasks; align priorities with stakeholders.
• Line manage developers with 1:1s, reviews and PDPs for career progression.
• Provide technical leadership; support architecture discussions with architects and Head of Engineering.
• Identify opportunities to adopt new technologies and processes; manage technical debt proactively.
• Coordinate with international teams (South African support) to balance workload and priorities.
