Job description

We’re hiring a Platform Engineering Lead to drive the evolution of our cloud infrastructure and developer platforms. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll shape technical strategy, build scalable solutions, and champion engineering best practices.

What You’ll Do

1. Lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure cloud platforms (AWS).
2. Drive DevOps, automation, and CI/CD best practices (Jenkins, GitLab, Docker).
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
4. Mentor engineers, promote code quality, and foster a culture of technical excellence.
5. Contribute to long-term platform strategy and innovation.

What You’ll Bring

1. Proven experience in Java (or similar) and working across multiple languages.
2. Deep knowledge of AWS and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
3. Strong background in DevOps, CI/CD, and container orchestration.
4. Exposure to SaaS deployments, monitoring (ELK, CloudWatch), and SRE practices.
5. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and secure software development.

Compensation: base £80-95k + Bonus and benefits package.

Work arrangement: In-office 2 days a week.
