Job summary

SiXworks in the United Kingdom is seeking a Platform Engineer to design, build, and deliver secure digital solutions for mission-critical operations, working with engineering, architecture, and delivery specialists to enable faster, safer decision-making.

You will shape CI/CD pipelines, automation tooling (Terraform, Ansible), and platform features, applying secure-by-design principles while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating across teams in a fast-paced, security-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Agile/DevOps environments.
• Strong documentation skills (Confluence, SharePoint).
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Linux and/or Windows administration.
• Scripting and development skills.
• CI/CD tooling experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deliver secure digital solutions.
• Design, implement, and improve CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop automation tooling and Infrastructure‑as‑Code.
• Support platform deployment, upgrade, and maintenance.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices.
• Apply secure‑by‑design principles and conduct vulnerability assessments.
