Ashby is seeking a Platform Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer to scale our infrastructure as we grow. You’ll own end-to-end projects, work on scaling our homegrown DSL-to-SQL compiler, and help ensure reliability and security for enterprise customers.

You’ll collaborate with a small, fast-moving team to deliver a safe, scalable platform. We value ownership, pragmatic decision-making, and strong engineering judgment across modern tooling.

Qualifications

• Experience building scalable infrastructure for high-growth teams.
• Ability to own projects end-to-end with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Optimize homegrown DSL-to-SQL compiler tooling and reliability.
• Implement guardrails for security and data privacy.
• Enable canaryDeploys, gradual rollouts and feature flags to ship safely.
• Define SLOs and corresponding SLIs with the engineering team.
• Ensure robust retries and circuit-breakers for external services.
