A leading company in the pharmaceutical industry is seeking a talented Engineer to support tablet manufacturing at their Ware site. The role involves providing engineering expertise for production equipment, driving improvements, and ensuring high safety and quality standards. The successful candidate will work in a collaborative environment, contributing to significant capital investment projects and enhancing operational excellence.
GSK is seeking a talented Engineer with a strong manufacturing background to work within the Oral Solid Dose (OSD) department, supporting end-to-end tablet manufacturing (Dispensing, Granulation, Compression, Coating, Packing). The role involves providing engineering technical support for production equipment and related plant operations.
The successful candidate will deliver professional engineering expertise for unit operations, ensuring that design, installation, and performance are maintained and improved throughout the equipment's lifecycle. This includes implementing business improvement upgrades, modifications, and adaptations to meet quality, safety, and performance standards. The role reports to an Engineering Manager and collaborates with technical authorities across multiple equipment platforms.
The Ware Campus is undergoing significant capital investment, with multiple large asset refreshment programs. The successful candidate will influence and provide technical guidance to facilitate this expansion and support existing production equipment.
The site is co-located with R&D, featuring a state-of-the-art oral solid dose facility. It fosters collaboration among scientists, technicians, and engineers to innovate and deliver medicines efficiently. The site produces over 60 million respiratory inhalers annually and processes Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) for internal and external use.
